Well-being is a skill - it can be learned and practiced



Are a moment for being with yourself, a time you will spend with your body and your mind. The LAB Workshops always have a similar structure, what changes is the theme that will be presented in the THEORY part.
At the LAB we want you to have a GOOD time and to LEARN something new. We like to think of it as a combination between a self-development workshop with a SPA day.
- Theory is presented and practiced
- Mindfulness is experimented in different ways: breath, sounds, body awareness, smell, taste...
-  You are given time to reach a deep relaxation
- At the end, a warm and fresh meal is served and appreciated mindfully, as a journey through the senses.


At the moment we have 3 VERSIONS of the LAB Workshop, they ALL include soft body work, relaxation and a different WELL-BEING THEORY

The "INTRODUCTION" version includes:
* Scientific studies on the benefits of Mindfulness
* MBSR and the importance of awareness by Job Kabat-Zinn
* Inputs from the Evolution Theory by Robert Wright

The "WELL-BEING" version includes:
* Mindful WALK - as done by Thich Nhat Hanh (in Summer)
* Richard Davidsons theory: "Well-being is a skill" where you will learn the 4 constituents for well-being, which can be learned and practiced 

The "TOUCH" version includes:
* Mindful Relationship inputs from relationship expert Dr. Cheryl Fraser
* Practices that touch emotionally and physically the people around you
* Learning self care practices that work for YOU.

The Mindworks URBAN RETREAT!

Along with Wishwell Institute we will host an URBAN RETREAT on Bayron Katies technique: "THE WORK". This self-development technique aims at helping you identify which beliefs hold you back and how you can face your shades and use this to push you forward. 
We will also have yoga, mindfulness practices and great healthy food throughout the day!

What is Mindfulness? 

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, and not get overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around us. We practice mindfulness by maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment.

Flavia Laterman

A Brazilian living in Vienna since 2008, I worked with HR offering trainings in organizations in Brazil. In Vienna, I got a Masters degree from Lauder Business School in 2011.
After suffering from anxiety for a year and trying different treatments, I finally got rid of my symptoms after 2 weeks of Mindfulness meditation every day. "The symptoms were gone like magic and I was my happy self again!" I knew this was something that could help many people and I was certain this was what I wanted to work with.
Since then I have done various courses on Mindfulness including the certification as MIO Trainer (Mindfulness in Organizations). I am also a certified yoga and restorative yoga instructor.
