The 75min Sessions begin with Yoga exercises, which build up strength and flexibility, followed by Mindfulness, which brings awareness of thoughts and feelings.
Sessions end with a restorative pose, where participants reach deep relaxation.

"THE MINDFULNESS LAB" WORKSHOPS

Are a moment for being with yourself, a time you will spend with your body and your mind. The LABs are offered a few times a year, last 3h and always have a similar structure, what changes is the theme that will be presented in the THEORY part.
At the LAB we want you to have a pleasant time and experiment something new. We like to think of it as a combination between a self-development workshop with a SPA day. The theory is presented intertwined with practice. We practice Mindfulness in different ways, through the breath, sounds, with body awareness exercises and also in a restorative pose, where you relax to reach a deep relaxation. 
At the end, a warm and fresh meal is served and appreciated mindfully, as a journey through the senses.

At the moment we have 2 VERSIONS of the LAB Workshop, both follow the same structure as described above, what changes is the theory:

The "INTRODUCTION" version includes:
* Scientific studies on the benefits of Mindfulness
* MBSR and the importance of awareness by Job Kabat-Zinn
* Inputs from the Evolution Theory by Robert Wright

The "WELL-BEING" version includes:
* Mindful WALK - as done by Thich Nhat Hanh (in Summer)
* Richard Davidsons theory: "Well-being is a skill" where you will learn the 4 constituents for well-being, which can be learned and practiced

What is Mindfulness? 

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, and not get overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around us. We practice mindfulness by maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment.
Jon Kabat Zinn defines mindfulness as: "Paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgementally".

Flavia Laterman
I am a Brazilian living in Vienna since 2008.
In São Paulo I worked with HR giving soft skills trainings in organizations and teaching. In Vienna I got a Master degree in International Management and discovered Mindfulness in 2015. Since then I have done various courses on Mindfulness including the certification as MIO Trainer (Mindfulness in Organizations).
I am also a yoga instructor.
